Cacciamici farmhouse with swimming pool in Val d'Orcia

Farmhouse cacciamici is located in Central Italy, half-way between Rome and Florence, few kilometres from the toll-exit Chiusi-Chianciano Terme of A1 Milan-Rome motorway (Autosole) and only five minutes from the juncture with the state road SS2, best-known as "Cassia". Near by are the picturesque abbeys of Sant'Antimo and Monte Oliveto Maggiore, Bagno Vignoni, Pienza, and towns of art as Montepulciano, Chiusi, Arezzo and Perugia. We are at about half an hour driving from Montalcino and three quarters of an hour from the Chianti region, Siena, Orvieto, San Gimignano; little more than an hour driving from Florence, the Tyrrhenian Sea, Viterbo and Assisi, and less than two hours far from Rome. From the farm you can clearly see the profile of Mount Amiata, whose top, equipped with excellent skiing plants, is only thirty kilometres far.

By train: Milan-Rome line: Chiusi-Chianciano Terme.

By car:
Motorway Milan-Rome A1 (E35)
- Exit A1 Chiusi -Chianciano T.     follow for Chianciano T. for 12 km
- Turn left for Monte Amiata
- Turn right to Monte Amiata   continue on this road a stretch
 - The first stop sign, turn left  
- After a few meters at the stop sign turn sinistradirezione Contignano      continue on this road for a distance about 12km
- Turn left to Contignano    continue for 2 km
- At the next stop sign, turn left and continue for 4 km to Radicofani
- Turn left for vacations Cacciamici

Or for the "Cassia" :
From Rome: "SS Cassia" (SS2) output Chianciano; continue towards Chianciano Terme. Take the first exit left for Contignano.
3 follow the road sign Contignano to Radicofani.
After 4 km turn left.  

From Siena: State Road Cassia (SS 2). After crossing San Quirico d'Orcia continue for 3-4 Km you will find directions to Contignano.
Follow this road for about 15 km, follow the road sign 3 Contignano to Radicofani.
After 4 km turn left.   

The entrance of Cacciamici is: Provincial Road 53 (Via dell'Orcia) between the fifteenth and sixteenth km.
